# What is Force Copy?
For example, here's a trader who has already been followed and has two open positions. These positions will be shown under the section of **uncopied open positions**:
**Step 1:**
To copy his existing long position for WETH, click on the button - "Copy this Position"
**Step 2:**
**Following that**, a wallet popup will appear to sign on the transaction. Click on Confirm.
**Step 3:**
After clicking on the confirm, you'll see a message that the position has been copied successfully. Click on **Done**.

Here we can see that our position has been opened and will be closed once the pro trader closes his.
